Well I've been tagged by about a dozen people, so here's my 16:

1. I am the oldest of three sons, and have 1 daughter and two sons (17, 15, and 12). They rock.
2. I have been married to Mary Ellen Page for 21 years. She rocks.
3. I have lived in Niles, Chicago, Champaign, and Urbana, Illinois; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Chandler, Arizona (a suburb of Phoenix).
4. I am professor of Supply Chain Management at Arizona State University. Our department is ranked #3 in the country.
5. My specialty is applying complex systems theory to understanding how organizations work, and don't.
6. My most recent published paper was "Supplier innovativeness, learning contingencies and manufacturer performance: An organizational learning perspective"; the paper I just finished writing was a cultural study of the concept of the "butterfly effect".
7. The course I have taught for over 20 years is "Quality Management"; the course I have taught the most is "Management of Technology and Innovation".
8. Music is always running thru my head. I play guitar, keyboards, and harmonica, and love to make experimental music.
9. Faves: Frank Zappa, Grateful Dead, Harry Nilsson, Residents; anything good and esoteric regardless of genre.
10. My favorite classics: Prokofiev's "Alexander Nevsky" and Schoenberg's "Verklärte Nacht".
11. The only food I crave is sashimi/sushi.
12. I am obsessed with Greenland.
13. I have watched the soap opera "All My Children" for 30 years.
14. I am a cat person.
15. Our current world condition re sustainability scares the hell out of me; the more I learn the more urgency I feel.
16. I am a Flickrholic.
