Yamaguchi - Piero Okonomiyaki

Every Saturday morning, we'd walk down to the Okonomiyaki place - named "Piero" for the clown - for our Saturday brunch. I usually got the gakusei soba -- larger okonomiyaki with yakisoba noodles in the middle -- and Woody usually got the seafood, but not always. After a few months, I didn't have to order: they'd just assume unless I said something.
You don't tip at restaurants in Japan. That didn't seem right, somehow, with a place we went to so often and which gave us such good service. So, once we started doing origami, we'd leave cranes or boxes or whatever on the table. Eventually they started collecting them on a small windowsill.
