blue(b) pancakes

This morning's breakfast (no April Fools here): blueberry pancakes, inspired by this beautiful photo of this recipe.
Although neither the pancakes nor the photos came out as picture perfect as those above (my batter was far too thick and my beat-up old pan heats unevenly), I am certainly satisfied.
my shitty food from last night
Bryan said I should blog about my food last night, and take a picture.
After wandering around Leicester Square for a long time last night, looking for a particular place* in the guidebook, I settled for Chi Chi Vegetarian Oriental Buffet.
I know, you're thinking, "What were you thinking?"
I was thinking, I'm hungry, £6 is cheap for this area, and the place looks friendly enough.
Well, it was pretty bad. The best dish, so far as I can tell, was french fries in some kind of sweet & sour sauce. Well, or the sesame-red bean dessert balls. They also had Green Curry Dogfood, and Panang Curry Dogfood, and... other stuff of that sort.
* Of course, on the way home, I walked right past the place I'd been looking for! So I went there today for lunch, and it was delish. I've got pictures of that, too, which will go up tonight or tomorrow.
