He Loved His Food

As I developed rolls of film I had laying around, I found a few shots of my wonderful friend and companion, Uno Catpuccino. Many of you remember him as the subject of most of my photos, and many of you shared in his life via pictures. For those that didn't, he was, quite literally, my ever-faithful best friend and companion. For those that don't know or remember, I had to have him put to sleep when his diabetes got out of control, and it was the worst day of my life. This all took place back in late November, and almost 4 moths to the day, I'm crying as I type this.

Anyway, one his wonderful quirks was that he knew when I came home with a bag of new cat food, and our little ritual was for me to put it on the floor so he could run on it and "mark it" with his mouth (like he's doing in this picture). I'd then pour it from the bag into the cat food holder thing we used — while sitting it on the floor — and he'd crane his neck inside to get food from the container until I put some in his bowl.

It was nice to find some "unknown" Uno picture — but it was also hard. It's been a while since I cried over him, and these photos brought those emotions back. I miss my little buddy and friend.
