McDonald's (1488 S. Main St.), looking northwest across Gregory Lane. Main Street (Highway 101) is just off the photo to the right. The multicolored plastic play structure threatens to grow larger than the restaurant itself!
I Love The Smell Of In-N-Out In The Morning

Hiked over from our hotel in the freezing wind to check out a brand new In-N-Out that opened two months ago in Yuma, Arizona. It was an hour and a half before opening, but the place was full of employees. A few of them came out to ask us why we were taking photos, and one was so nice he offered to make some coffee.
101 Drive-In

At left is 101 Drive-In (100 N. Main St.), which is opposite the end of State Street. Farther north are Marilyn Jean's Drive Thru Coffee and Premier Tile and Stone.
From the 1930s to the mid-1940s, the Lemon Stand was where the drive-in is now. In the shape of a big lemon, the stand served lemonade and orangeade. Later the lemon was replaced by Senator's Sandwich Shop.
