Taco John's!

When I was in Minnesota for Christmas, we went to (what I'm slightly ashamed to admit is) my favorite restaurant: Taco John's. They're kinda like Taco Bell, but higher quality for a tiny bit more money. It's good stuff. That's my immediate family there, except for my dad. He's taking the picture.

A well earned cuppa... and my first Creme Egg of the year. I was very, very good today, so I thought I'd earned a chocolate treat. :-)

Boxed sushi lunch - with a cherry

I ate this eki-ben ("station food") in the train to Nara. It makes a nice picture, but you can find cheaper and better sushi elsewhere than these, picked up in the last minute from stalls in the railway station.

But I have to give the box credit for looking pretty - and what's with the cherry?!

Overall grade B, (without aesthetics interfering, would have been C).
