This click is from the recently concluded "Chennai Sangamam" and what a colorful display it was. Wonderful lights, great artistic shows, candid moments, yummy looking food and some really great photo opportunities. Made best use of the chance and clicked some pictures there. Even though I took this shot on the 14th, I am seeing the photos in my computer only today. Life at office has been busy (And it is an understatement by a mile!!) but I am learning a whole lot and that has kept me highly energetic & excited.

The only sad thing is on missing the great clicks from all my friends here. Miss you all :-(

The Lake Palace Hotel

Udaipur lives up to its reputation and is rightly a 'must see' on the tourist trail. Palaces arrayed around and in the lake - who could want for more.

Other highlights include the world's worst bagpipe band at the Laxmi Vilas Palace Hotel (it was so bad it was good) and Ambrai restaurant.

Ambrai has unsurpassed views of the Lake and City Palaces, and really good food. Most of the photos here were taken near it. Strangely, whilst there I met someone who used to be with Atkins in Hong Kong, and then we returned to Bangalore only to meet people who had been at the other end of the restrarant on the same night.

Evidently it's THE place to be!

My one regret was that we didn't eat at one of the many restaurants that had Octopussy on continuous loop - but I'll get over it.

These pictures were taken during a visit to western Rajasthan in October 2008.

I do not remember my childhood,
After taking this shot, I realized...
Once upon a time I was also a kid like this for my mom...
And I know still I am kid for my mom...
She loves me a lot and cares me a lot...

Right now my parents are there in Coimbatore, India...
They are enjoying the wonderful climate there and we are missing them a lot...

My son Ateendra and my wife is there in the Picture...
