"Despicable Me Theme Song" - Pharrell Williams

Today felt kind of disjointed, and fragmented within itself I guess.
Not that it was a bad thing, just a different flow to today.
Things just felt very compartmentalized into their own blocks of time.

So, in the morning, I, being alone, had to take care of the dogs. Came to a surprise, being that Jack was feeling sick and made a bit of a mess in the kennel he shares with Maggie (pictured here.) So, I had to clean the kennel and them up. They were due for baths anyway, Jack just gave me a reason to do it.

So, then I was invited to watch Despicable Me with Chris today and I quite liked the movie. Very cute and funny and the music wasn't too bad, and the voice talent was good as well.
I had to make sure to feed myself before going of course and had to make some food I'd rather not share the details of what I ate, I'm not proud. There are just things in this house I'm not sure I'm supposed to eat yet or not. My mom always has plans for all the nice food so I don't want to eat it and make her annoyed or angry. I respect her, but it makes me miss buying my own groceries and having no problem with what I was "allowed" to eat or not.
Meh, it's the price I pay for respecting people's wishes and playing by their rules. I generally like to stay on people's good sides.

And, now I am hanging out at Derek's with Ian and le cats.

BY THE WAY, that ribbon I have in the middle picture, it's from high school, got second place in an art show. I forgot I had it. I like the look of it.

Made baklava for a party, just had to take pictures i guess.
The edges are all funny because it's been years since i made this, and forgot how rough phyllo dough is to handle after not using it for years. :P

i know this is blurry, but i couldn't resist. josh looks too funny! this was our attempt at grilling pizza margherita style. about 15 seconds after i took this picture, it began to pour rain. luckily, the pizza was saved.
