This was the most photogenic and the most appreciated curry I cooked. It is called 'Shahi Paneer'. 'Shahi' means 'royal' and 'Paneer' is cottage cheese.

This is a very popular dish and you can find its reipe on quite a number of websites although they differ slightly on different ones. Here is a list of ingredients that I used:
Paneer, cashew nuts, pumpkin seed(peeled), cardamom, cinnamon sticks, mace, corriander powder, cumin powder, cumin seeds, red chilly powder, black pepper, cooking oil, clarified butter (ghee), turmeric powder, nutmeg powder, salt and fresh mint for garnishing.

To shoot this photo, I placed this pot on my dining table (the red background is the table top) and bounced the light of my Nikon SB 26 speed light off the ceiling. I use Nikon speedlight with my Finepix S9500 :)

Excellent Mexican Food. Casa Bonita. Probably the best in Flagstaff, but I don't know Flag well enough to make a judgement. If Flag has better Mexican Food I would love to hear about it. I had the combination plate with an enchilada, taco and tamale. And a frozen Margarita. Might make it into my Top 20 in Arizona but it would be close. Service and ambience are 10 food a 9 value a 10.
